Our Team
We are a distinctive medical practice located in the St. Petersburg, FL area. We offer a variety of intravenous protocols, stem cell injections, anti-aging solutions, and detoxification therapies for a spectrum of illnesses.
Our customized preventative care and lifestyle improvement plans are formulated during an in-depth appointment with our board certified physician Dr. Douglas Nelson, D.O. With over 30 years of experience, he focuses on exploring contemporary biotechnical approaches integrated with personalized alternative care for both local and out-of-state patients.
Dr. Douglas Nelson, D.O. is one of two Chief Executive Officers for The Lio Mission and New Power Medical Center. A Board Certified Physician for many years, with exceptional leadership qualities and a strategic vision focused on improving the future of healthcare; A physician dedicated to taking time with each valued patient to uncover the cause behind their stressors whether physical, emotional or spiritual in nature.
An Iowa born native and Nova Southeastern University Alumnus, Dr. Nelson earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Science, Arts and Technology. He is a member of the Hillsborough County Osteopathic Medical Society and Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
When not at work, Dr. Nelson is an avid reader and participates as a member of the American Osteopathic Association to aid in establishing annual nonprofit clinics in Jamaica.
